Waterworld Timeline
Here is the timeline on us choosing to join Waterworld in May 2027.
- Feb 2026 — Danielle shared about Waterworld on a FB post and I commented to get more information. Our conversation started.
- March 2026 — Published our podcast. I think this was the first version of this post because I wanted to get more information about Waterworld and I figured why not record the conversation. This podcast is completely unedited and it's my first step into choosing a hub.
- May 2026 — I joined Danielle on an IG live to talk about choosing differently and living in partnership with our children. This was the time when I reopened my IG after leaving in January 2026. Follow me @julietaduvall
- July 2026 — I received the nudge/inspiration to begin asking the questions of booking our trip while paying for it in installments. This is what we did with our Belize hub and it was the best experience because the financial commitment was spread out but by the time we traveled the focus was on experiencing the trip and not worrying about the finances. My husband and I finally had the chance to connect deeper on this before I shared with the kids (although I knew the kids was an easy yes).
- July 30th 2026 — We committed to our trip by sending our 30% deposit and creating the roadmap to pay the rest. We took advantage of Danielle's promotion of kids sailing free for every parent that booked by the end of July. As you can see, I like living on the edge. I also created a journal to keep my notes and thoughts together because I love the process of refinement.
